“How is the indwelling Spirit not relational?” – David Crabtree

Introducing our Authors and Teachers

Our Team of Authors & Teachers for the Grace teaching portion of this site.

David Crabtree is the lead author of this site and we are blessed to have significant others on “the team”. Others will be added in the future. We are all committed to promote Grace and to give impetus to the “revolution” that Grace will cause.

He has been preaching and teaching on Grace for 25 years and the “Grace message” is his heart message which has become foundational to his ministry at DaySpring. Narelle was recently healed of Lyme Disease. After 45 years of affliction, an encounter with God completely healed her of the disease. Her testimony about that revelatory encounter and her healing is extraordinarily powerful.

He pastored a thriving congregation for 25 years, and is Founder of Headwaters Ministries, provides apostolic consultation to church leadership, and teaches in churches and conferences on relevant Kingdom issues. His cutting-edge articles have been published in many of the leading Christian publications today. Randall’s colleagues in ministry, to mention a few, include Dr. Mark Hanby, Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, and Bill Johnson. He is a regular guest instructor in some of the nations leading schools of ministry, preparing believers to impact the world with Kingdom influence. As a Life Coach, Randall works with individuals in the business community desiring to integrate Kingdom principles in the marketplace. Randall and his wife, Penny, have three adult sons that are all uniquely involved in various aspects of a lifestyle of ministry. He is a wonderful teacher and in demand for incisive Biblical teaching. He is a great friend of ours and we always enjoy his company, his depth, his thinking,  and his maturity in God. He has recently published a new book “Brush Strokes of Grace“. Well worth the read.

Pr. Don Milam

Don Milam lives on the east coast of the USA (Myrtle Beach, SC) and has great experience in ministry and in the publishing industry. We enjoy his incisive thinking and he is a “rabid exponent” of Grace. He graduated from Prairie Bible College in Alberta, Canada, in 1968. After getting married he joined the staff of Philadelphia Teen Challenge working in the inner city with drug addicts. After two years, he (with his wife) exchanged the streets of Philadelphia for the streets of Maputo, Mozambique, in East Africa where they opened a drug rehabilitation center at the request of the Portuguese Department of Health. When the communists took control of the country in 1975, he was arrested and spent ten months in prison. Following his release, he was a pastor for ten years in Pennsylvania. He worked for Destiny Image Publishers for eighteen years as head of Author Development.

He is now working for Whitaker House as Acquisitions Consultant. He is the author of The Lost Passions of Jesus and The Ancient Language of Eden.

Our ‘Special Resource Team’ (mainly authors and inspirational people who have inspired us for many years)

I owe a deep debt of gratitude to many influences in my life and in particular, authors, theologians, and leaders who by their books, audio teaching, preaching and teaching have significantly impacted me. At critical junctures in my life’s journey, I have chosen to alter course as far as my beliefs and personal values are concerned.  Encountering the Holy Spirit and being filled with His presence made for a momentous change in my outlook, my life, and practice.  Embracing grace and realizing the significant freedom that faith and grace bring cannot be underestimated as a transforming point in my life. Recognizing that I am saved (justified and sanctified) by faith in Jesus without the need for Law brought new life and enlivening understanding of the New Testament.

Two authors, in particular, helped bring me to this place. Dr. Gordon Fee and Dr. Michael Eaton. Both are theological scholars of renown and repute, both have a high value of the role of the Holy Spirit and a high value of the doctrine of Grace. Both have been prolific in their writing and their books hold pre-eminence in my theological library.

Dr. Gordon Fee

Author/NT Scholar. Dr. Gordon Fee is not actually “on team” but his influence through his teachings and writing is very highly regarded. His book “God’s Empowering Presence“, while not prompting our definition of Grace, has been significant in the development of a New Testament theology that emphasizes a “high doctrine” of the Holy Spirit and a righteousness that is free from the Torah.

“Christ’s death and resurrection have brought an end to Torah observance (living on the basis of Old Testament law, Rom 7:4-6; 8:2-3); being led by the Spirit has replaced observance as God’s way of fulfilling Torah (Gal 5:18); indeed, the righteous requirement of Torah is now fulfilled in those who walk in/by the Spirit.” – Dr. Gordon Fee, “Paul, the Spirit and the People of God
Author, NT Scholar

Dr. Micheal Eaton

The late Dr. Michael Eaton was based in Nairobi Kenya. He is regarded by the likes of Dr. R.T. Kendall as one of the world’s best theologians. A protegé of Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones, Dr. Eaton is a brilliant teacher worth reading and listening to. He was (and is) highly influential in our formative years in ministry, especially through his book “No Condemnation: A Theology of Assurance of Salvation” in which he argues for a more encouraging and assuring theology than is typically taught.

Again, Dr. Michael Eaton is not officially ‘on team’, but his teaching has been significantly influential and does permeate the thoughts expressed on this website. We’re very happy to acknowledge his contribution and influence in our lives. We are immensely indebted to the Eaton family who have graciously given us permission to publish on this site articles and media by Dr. Michael Eaton. Thank you.
