“Grace is an outrageously relational term.”

Overwhelmed With Kindness

Busy, distracted, preoccupied, with multiple expectations clamoring for your attention?

When the pressure is on to achieve, the last thing we feel like doing is laying down that task, that “to do” list. But is there a divine interruption, right now, an encounter intruding into your agenda that will shift the stress and enable you, not overwhelm you with more?

The intrusion into your already overloaded life and at the very time you feel swamped, is a “more” you need!

It is the “more” of kindness…
We could all do with a little more kindness in our world, maybe even an overload!

Pause, even momentarily and connect with the One who knows you and really gets you. Hear first His whispers of love, His affirmation, as well as His counsel and directions. He knows all that’s happening, your longings, your frustration, the mountains you face and the delights of your day.

Be assured… His perspective will bring the adjustments needed as well as the resource and the energy to accomplish all that’s on for this day. Let Him remind you of the specific promises over your life. Take a moment to recall those words and reflect on them, allowing for current Holy Spirit input…

If you’re struggling today to recall His personal words of encouragement, check out these verses and give some space so that they sink deeply into your spirit and revive your soul…let them bring you refreshment and peace, energize you for the tasks ahead!

Take at least one of these and make it your own today…throughout the day, let the truth marinate in your soul and spirit and remind yourself of it especially as you feel challenged or harassed.

His kindness not only settles the clamoring, but it brings with it a fresh sense of identity, that you are indeed a loved child of the awesome God of the universe.
Today, with Him, has great possibilities.

Ps 145:13-16 (TPT)
“…You are faithful to fulfill every promise You’ve made. You manifest Yourself as kindness in all You do!
Weak and feeble ones, You will sustain. Those bent over with burdens of shame, You will lift up.
You have captured our attention, and the eyes of all look to You. You give what they hunger for, at just the right time!
When You open Your generous hand, it’s full of blessings, satisfying the longings of every living thing!”

Ps 139:3-6 (TPT)
You are so intimately aware of me, Lord,
You read my heart like an open book
And know all the words I will speak before I even start a sentence!
You know the steps I will take, before my journey even begins!
You’re always ahead of me to prepare the way,
And You follow behind, protecting and guarding me.
Your hand of love is upon my life, imparting Your blessing to me!
This is just too wonderful, deep and incomprehensible! Your knowledge of me is beyond my understanding!”

Eph 1: 3-8 (NLT)
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.
This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
So, we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.
He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.”

Eph 3: 16-19
“I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
